One more detail sits in the agreement's currency rules. The minutes you spend in a call are converted into points, which the women on the other side of CooMeet's calls can exchange for money. If there is a dispute, StrangerCam's terms let it hand over your avatar, screenshots taken by the system while you were searching for a partner, your IP address and your city. Claims fall under Dutch law and Dutch courts, and they have to be filed within one year.

On the connection itself, StrangerCam is straightforward. Its privacy policy says the service may connect two computers directly, peer to peer, and that your IP address is not shown in the interface. Its data is hosted in Germany and the United States, and payments may pass through processors such as Stripe, PayPal and Segpay.
